Hmmmm....
This is another one of those completely random posts (have I ever had a non-random post?) that just has my favorite pics from the last few months.

This pic was of the beautiful sky on our way to California. I took it of the reflection on the van door. The silhouettes are my dad and brother:)

I hate making titles.

This is a frightening blueberry from my yard... I think it might be the aliens trying to tell us something;P

Some day soon...

My Spring Break

This is at the Japenese Garden. It was very beautiful and relaxing. Tons of bamboo.

I was inspired by Claire's green shakes so I decided to make one of my own. Drew refused to try it, but Lu was adventurous enough to take two sips before declaring that, "Green smoothies are yucky." I really liked it though, and I refuse to give into peer pressure.Monday we were goofing off in the sun. It was fun. I missed the sun. Kynsie and I tanned a little the last couple of days but the sun made us kind of go crazy. Kynsie started seeing pregnant cows and decided she wanted to hug the sun.
These are Drew's shoes in negative. On the way to church Drew was trying to go to sleep and I (being his younger sister) was trying to take his picture. So he to away my camera, phone, and lotion. I attempted to steal his shoes, but ended up bruising my knuckle by punching his elbow. I wouldn't recommend it. We had fun though.

After the last TeenPact class Mom took us shopping. This is at Batdorf and Bronson. I love the heart! =)
Those are a few things I did last week.

It's almost here!
I am really excited about Spring. I think that the weather is bipolar. It cannot make up it's mind. When we got up this morning to get ready for church it was snowing like crazy and the whole ground was covered. Now it is all gone. But that just makes things more exciting I guess. I got some pics the other day (you know, back when it was sunny) of the rail road. I am the weird shadow.
It was so beautiful outside.
Last night my family stayed up playing poker and watching Ghost Town and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Both were very funny. It was fun. It stunk not having Kynsie to kick my butt at poker though ;) Miss you.

THE NEXT PASS IT ON THINGY
Part I
Marvin Kelly was a well educated salesman who had everything except the most important part- a job. For some reason he could not sell a thing if his life depended on it. He tried and tried again to no avail. If the whole world was infected with a disease and would die in 20 minutes he probably couldn't sell the antidote. That's how bad this dude was. His appearance probably didn't help- mangy hair, a suit from goodwill, a tie that may have belonged to a hobo at one time, and a leather briefcase that was passed down to him from his mother. No one could take him seriously and I don't blame them.
Don't get me wrong, Marvin Kelly is not stupid. He is actually completely honest and that's what made it hard for him to be a salesman. But he was determined and just try stopping a determined salesman (why do you think I have multiple dishwashers? I can't make those guys shut-up!).
Today was the day of Marvin Kelly's interview for Oreck Vacuum cleaners (You may have heard of them, I was once engaged to the old man in all the advertisments). Today it well happen. Today I will not mess up, I need this job.
To see what happens next go to Kynsie's blog, at theycallmezoro.blogspot.com, and read Part II of this exciting story (that is, if she writes it.)

Fine, I will be nice.
Tim- Tim has the BEST blog. It is definately the most interesting to read. I like the songs you've been posting, btw.
Sarah- I don't remember a time she wasn't there for me. Plus, she has put up with my Corner Gas quotes for years.
Piper- Piper is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is so caring and responsible.
Wyatt- I love his salty cookies! Also, the writing class paper was hilarious!
Brett- I agree about rubics cubes, they are terrible. Who has time to sit around and do an impossible puzzle?
Dana- Really fun to play poker with ;) I remember when we used to do German lessons and eat popcorn... Oh, and I think it was Ms. White in the ballroom with the lead pipe.
Lolo- Probably the funnest(I am quite aware that 'funnest' is not a word) person to talk to. Lolo, how many calories am I burning typing on this keyboard?

I've been pondering...
17Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and brag about your relationship to God; 18if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law; 19if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, 20an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— 21you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? 22You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? 24As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."
I have been reading Romans lately and this whole section was extremely convicting. I think we all need to really think about what we say and how we act to avoid doing exactly what this passage says. The actual definition of hypocrite is:
1.
a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
2.
a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.
I think we all do this to some extent. We act differently and think differently at church than we do at home and everywhere else. My Mom recently put on the chalk board, "Change your thoughts, and God will change your heart." I have been trying to change my attitude. It's hard, I won't lie. But I sometimes get really frustrated over nothing and it's not okay. At home I need to act the same way I would act in front of others.
Romans 2:28-29
A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.

Lu has a crush, his name, Pillsbury...
The other day my mom bought pre-made sugar cookie dough for Lulu. So all day she wanted to make her cookies. A while ago she got a little kid cooking set that was really cute. It had the hat, an apron, and other random dishes and kitchen utensils (we use the whisk in the kitchen, shhhh).
The hat is priceless:)
They looked... interesting. The important thing is Lu had fun.

Hey, song of the South, sweet potato fry and I shut my mouth...

Thinly sliced scallions
My family really liked it. I replaced the sunflower oil with canola, what can I say? I am a rule breaker.
So the wiener schnitzel was also good but it scared me really bad... There I was, standing in the kitchen, cute and innocent as ever.. It was about 5:15 pm. Not a time you would expect something frightening to occur. Okay, maybe I am being a little dramatic. What happened is the grease kind of went mental and I was splattered multiple times. I don't know why it took it all out on me! It made quite the mess. But it was worth it. I tried to get a pic of the boiling oil but it was sort of trying to kill me at the time.
I was trying to do a lot at once so my mom made the sweet potatoes for me. She's so sweet:) I got this one that had a smiley face.
Isn't it cute?

Dad: Honey, did you see this?! It's both peanut butter and jam!
Me: Dad, we don't need it.
Dad: But it's both! Somebody was really thinking.
(I, of course, was thinking, "How could anyone in their right mind invent something like that?")
Me: Dad, you are a slave to advertising!
Dad: Fine, Mom.
It was hilarious. Dad is so cute:) We ended up just getting Adam's peanut butter. Which I am getting used to by the way. It's not completely repulsive anymore;) We also got unhealthy, sugary cereal (I love Dad shopping!).

Some things I deeply care for...
1. Chapstick
These are just the ones from beside my bed and in my purse and stuff.2. My hats
I love them both. I named the dog one Spot becuase when my Dad first saw it he said, "Hey, isn't that Spot the dog?" I have no idea what dog he was reffering to but it was funny.3. My mom's Mexico purse
When my mom was in 3rd grade her parents got it for her when they went to Mexico.4. Lotion

A lot of people hate lotion but I love it. This is just my stash.
5.Coffee
6.My promise ring
I got this ring with my cousins on some dock in Seattle a long time ago. It's very special to me. I have probably lost is 20 times in the last couple of years. But now I never take it off so I never lose it! Except to take this picture, but that's different matter entirely.7. My Olivia the Pig journal!
I love Olivia. She is so cute! Whenever the little one rents Olivia books I always steal them and read them. My favorite one is where Olivia forms a band. It's great.
8.Our typewriter
A while ago Kynsie and I got this old typewriter at a garage sale. We just use it as a decoration, but every now and then I get it out and just type for fun.
I love many other things, but these are the things I just saw when I looked around and I realized that maybe I wasn't giving them the praise they deserved;) There is still duct tape, Corner Gas, poker, monopoly....

They are all pretty random, but they are my favorite summer pictures. They are so happy!
