Hmmmm....

This is another one of those completely random posts (have I ever had a non-random post?) that just has my favorite pics from the last few months.
This is Sar looking cute as always at Batdorf and Bronson.
This is a very, very yellow truck that we saw on Kynsie's birthday while we were driving (remember that Sarah? My mom made a hilarious prediction and she was right:) and I kept creeping them out with my picture taking, lol)
This pic was of the beautiful sky on our way to California. I took it of the reflection on the van door. The silhouettes are my dad and brother:)

My Spring Break

We had our spring break last week and we had some sunny days. Ahhh... my life is good. So here are the pics of my life for the last week or so. I didn't actually take a lot of pictures this week. I am hopefully getting a new camera soon and then I shall take lots of pictures.
Kynsie, Sarah, and I did Teen Pact and we got to hang out with our dads before and after. It was a lot of fun. I highly recommend the carpool. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. We went to a fun coffee shop and we all got different Izzys. I have always loved grapefruit Izzys. They are my weakness. This is at the Japenese Garden. It was very beautiful and relaxing. Tons of bamboo.

I was inspired by Claire's green shakes so I decided to make one of my own. Drew refused to try it, but Lu was adventurous enough to take two sips before declaring that, "Green smoothies are yucky." I really liked it though, and I refuse to give into peer pressure.Monday we were goofing off in the sun. It was fun. I missed the sun. Kynsie and I tanned a little the last couple of days but the sun made us kind of go crazy. Kynsie started seeing pregnant cows and decided she wanted to hug the sun. These are Drew's shoes in negative. On the way to church Drew was trying to go to sleep and I (being his younger sister) was trying to take his picture. So he to away my camera, phone, and lotion. I attempted to steal his shoes, but ended up bruising my knuckle by punching his elbow. I wouldn't recommend it. We had fun though.

We had a barbeque on Saturday and I made Lemon cake. I had no idea how easy it was to make. It had like four ingredients.

After the last TeenPact class Mom took us shopping. This is at Batdorf and Bronson. I love the heart! =)

Those are a few things I did last week.

A bird in the hand is worth two bushes

Okay, so you know how for a while everyone said things like, "He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer," or any of the other ways of phrasing it? Well I think the most hilarious one is, "He's not the brightest pencil in the shed." I mean, how random is that? It is totally and completely wrong. The other one I love is something that Oscar says on Corner Gas. "It's not rocket surgery."

The main point of this post (my writing for school keeps emphasizing that papers must have an overall point, which I happen to lack most of the time) is just to say that although I often say a saying completely wrong, usually it's on purpose. I started thinking the other day that people who don't know me must think that I am either slow, or an idiot. So just keep that in mind next time we are talking and I say the title of this post to you.

Heart, Tom Petty, Food, and My Puppy Hat

This morning my mom made bread and then we made lasagna for dinner (we are on top of things, lol). It was fun. I love cooking. After that we listened to an assortment of 80's tunes and ate cookies. Yeah, that was fun...
So this is the puppy hat I got at the airport in Calgary. I couldn't resist. They were actually for little kids but this one must have been for like some chubby kid with a big head or something. It makes me happy. I still don't mind if I get a hat for Christmas, you can never have to many. Hats are like shoes.

Since we are on the topic of Calgary airport, I wanted to show the pictures of the delicious food that we got with the vouchers. Me and Drew got a ton more than we needed, but why not? It was free.

Christmas is Coming...

I am so happy!!! Christmas is coming! I have a Santa advent calendar and I am counting the days. We have our lights up, our tree decorated, our stockings hanging, our presents are wrapped(except for the ones for me of course, lol), and we've made a very pathetic gingerbread house. It is so hard to make ginger bread houses stay up! After about two minutes I was ready to admit defeat, but Mom insisted on finishing. The little one(I won't use names, lol) ate off all the candy so that's why it looks a little bare.

Our fireplace doesn't have a mantle, so we had to get creative with our stockings this year. So we decided to hang them from the loft. They are really cute up there, but I am afraid of them. The stocking hook thingies are really heavy and I am sure that they are going to attack someone soon. It's only a matter of time.....
